About Sonia
Sonia Caballero has more than 40 years of experience in high fashion and the entertainment industry. She has made costumes for Carnival Queens, beauty pageants, theater productions, commercials and television programs, movies, and Panamanian singers and artists. She also creates dresses and garments for weddings, quinceañeras, galas, performances, or whatever special event you might have coming up.
More than just making clothing, she transforms ideas into items that reflect your personality. Each design is an extension of who you are.
I grew up in the town of La Laguna de Pocri, Panama, and developed my love and passion for sewing as a child. My mother taught me the art of dress making, and soon I was making dresses for everyone in my family and many other people in the Los Santos area.
At 18, I moved to Panama City with my sewing machine, and in 1979, I began to work with a French designer who taught me the techniques of haute couture. Today, I have more than 40 years of experience serving clients from all walks of life in celebrating their special events with exclusive, custom-made garments.
